Dubinsky Announced A Plan For Cleaning Ukrainian Streets From Illegal Gambling Institutions

Alexander dubinsky believees that it is possible to overcome an illgal gambling business that has spread throughout the country, introducing criminal liability for its organization and promoting fraudsters.

People’s depeut announced this in the framework of the round table dedicated to the problem of the legislative and carrying gembling in ukraine. According to him, the first step towards solving the problem is the prohibition of the placement of gambling halls throughout the movement of such objects exclusively under the villas of hotels.

Next, it is necessary at the legislative level to provide the most severe responsibility for supporting such a business in the shade. Responsibility should act in three directions: an article for the conduct of illegal gambling business should be criminalized, punishment – from 5 years; promoting the development of the shadow segment, for example, the provision of premises for rent should be punished in the form of confiscation of property; for assistance from officials, representatives of the authorities or law enforcement agencies should be a measure of punishment in the form of imprisonment for a period of 12 years.

Dubinsky also adds that the current gambling chairs must be prohibited from the new year, with such a condition that in the near future (six months or year) they cannot be given a license for the right to activities related to gambling. He also adds that measures will not be effective if the streets of ukrainian cities do not remove lottery kiosks. Meant during the transition period.

Recall that projects will be made public to be financed for funds received from the sale of gembling licenses and the introduction of the tax rate for gambling operations.
