In Daugavpils Banned Slot Machines

In the daugavpils city duma, a meeting of deputies ended with the decision on the ban on gambling halls located on the territory of self-government.

This solution supported 11 deputies. Three abstained and one refused to vote. From this point on, gambling halls can be placed only in 3-, 4- and 5-star hotels, with a number of at least 15 rooms.

Also, the gambling hall can be discovered only with the consent of residents and as a result of this issue to the appropriate discussion by duma deputies. Emphasizes the additional condition – the gambling hall can be placed in the room at least 1000 square meters, the inhabitants shold give their approval.

After adopting the appropriate amendments and after in march next year, the changes will take effect, the deputies will deal will gambling halls.

It is known that as a result of this solution, the income of the city will reduce. So, for example, in connection with the adoption of the country’s budget for the next year, annual income will be equal to €140 thouusand. Also limiting the activities of slot machines can lead to the fact that part of the players will move to the online playgrounds.
