In Lithuania, The Number Of Self-Combosions From Gambling Has Grown
According to the lithuanian gambling supervision management, the number of citizens who abandoned participation in gambling in 2020 reached 17348 people. It demonstrates growth compared to the 2019 indicator.
In addition, the number of women (from 7% to 10%) and people aged 31 to 40 years who have decided to self-combustion. On the other hand, the number of young people between the ages of 18 and 20 fell from 9% to 6%.
The statement of the supervisory authority says: "this little change is a possible sign that young people start more responsible to relate to gambling and that the do not need a measure of help, such as a restriction".
The share of self-slipped in the age group from 21 to 30 years of 52% to 48%, and self-compliance among people aged 31 to 40 years increased from 36% to 42%. The share of self-mixed players aged 41 to 50 years remained at the level of 2%, and aged 51 and older – 4%.
