Income From Online Gambling In Spain Increased By 17.7%
In the second quarter, strongly affectedd by the pandemic covid-19, income from online gambling in spain increased by 17.7% (on year of 208.9 million euros).
The growth of the popularity of online casino and poker compensated for the fall of income from the sports bets caused by the abolition of sports events.
Most of the online casino revenues accounted for slot machines (51.9 million euros – by 30.4% more compared to the same period last year and 19.9% compared with the fist quarter). Poker revenues increased by 97.4% to 38.2 million euros, and the revenues from the game in live-roulette rose 75.7% to 27 million euros. Bingo revenue increased by 66.9% to 5 million euros.
