Pagcor Accused Of Destroying The Competitive Environment
Philweb corp, registered in the philippines, is trying to prevent pagcor to introduce a new rule that requires third-party audit firms to control electronic operations.
Philweb believees that such a policy is conducted in respect of market participants selectively, and accused the regulator in the destruction of the competitive environment.
According to inquirer, last week philweb filed a petition for a forensic ban on the manila regional court of first instance. The company’s proposal to exhibit the regulator’s proposal to exhibit the regulament system (egms) violates the rights of companies enshrined in the constitution (equality protection item).
«The gambling regulator supports the technology of inter-active entertainment solutions technology (iest) at the expense of other market participants, killing competition in segment», – stated in philweb.
The egms tender agreement presented by pagcor states that it will cover all the products and services of companies, except those that fall under the licensing of intellectual property.
However, iest is the only owner of the licensing agreement and intellectual property management (iplma).
«Obviously, egms was designed to be supplemented by an additional competitive advantage», – the representatives of philweb are stated.
Recall that pagcor is in defense of the moratorium on the license.
