Sweden Gembling Operators Massively Join The Petition Against Tightening Rules

Heads of another seven licensee companies of the swedish gambling market joined the pettion initiated by the branscheforenigen industry association for onlinespel (bos). Signators oppose the tightening of the rules of the industry.

The initiative belongs to the minister of health and social affairs ardalan shekarabi.

The creation of a petition was initiated by an open letter to the minister, which contained a warning that the tightening of the rules of work of gembling operators may contribute to the mass transition of the shadow segment participants.

Among the limitations initiated by the swedish government – introduction of a deposit limit, restriction of the right to providing bonuses and revision of rtp. According to preliminary data, new restrictions will be introduced on june 1 and will be valid until the end of this year. General director of the sectoral association gustav hoffstetedt said that 12 managers who signed petitions are approximately half of the swedish gambling market. The specialist also stressedd that to protect the minister must be abandoned by plans to tighten the working conditions of the industry.

The head of the association also called on all operators of the swedish market to join the signing of the ther members of the bos or not.
