The Draft Law On Compensation For The Elimination Of Gambling Zones Is Considered In The State Duma

The draft law on payment of compensation to investors in the event of the elimination of gambling zones was considered in the state duma in the first reading.

The document enshrines the exclusive right of the government of the gambling zone during the first 10 years from the creation of irks. In order for the the rule to enter into force, a specialized federal law must be adopted. After his adoption, investors and managers will have the opportunity to work at least three years in the former boundaries of the gambling zone.

If, from the moment of the basis of the gambling zone, 10 years have not passed until its elimination, investors will be compensated for damages at the expense of the budget. The procedure for payment of compensation is also determined by the government of the russian federation. Compensation will be paid from the budget of the subject of the federation, in the territory of which the gambling zone was located.

In case of adoption, the law will not spread to the gambling zone «azov city», the liquidation of which will begin on december 31, 2018.
