United Kingdom Authorities Against The Use Of Lutnboks In Computer Games

The committee on digital technology, culture, mass media and sports of great britain today announced its conclusions for the study of lutboks in computer games.

In conclusion, it is said that the body strongly condemns the use of such mechanics, despite the attempts of industry representatives wrap their opinion in the other side.

«We equate the lutboxs that you can buy for real money and the content of which is not disclosed in advance, to gambling for money», – the sentence says.

Experts who worked on studying the topic also concluded that evidence confirming the risk of gambling depending on the use of lutboxes is not insignificant:

Previously, the uk authorities were decided to create a special committee that will deal will with lutbox. It will include companies from sevel countries that are opponents of using this function in games. However, today was no action on their part.

For its part, the american association of manufacturers of software and computer games expressed a sharp disagreement with the decision of the committee.

The authors of the report recommmend to resolve the issue in accordance with the current legislation on gambling.
